Polynesian Slow Cooker Spareribs are one of my family’s favorite ways to enjoy tender, fall-apart ribs without spending all day in the kitchen. Just pop everything in the slow cooker in the morning, and by dinnertime, you’ll have the most succulent, glazed spareribs that’ll have everyone asking for seconds.
What makes these ribs so special is that beautiful sweet and savory glaze made with brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, and catsup that caramelizes beautifully as the ribs cook low and slow. The combination of flavors is just heavenly—it’s like taking your taste buds on a little tropical vacation right at your dinner table.
I love serving these when the whole family gathers around, because there’s something so joyful about passing a platter of sticky, delicious ribs and watching everyone’s faces light up. These spareribs remind me of summer cookouts and backyard gatherings with my grandchildren, and they’re always the first thing to disappear!
