Plain Pasta is one of those simple dishes that reminds me why the best meals don’t need to be complicated, dearie. With just a few pantry staples and a little bit of love, you can have fresh pasta on the table that’ll make your family think you’ve been cooking all day.
What makes this recipe so special is how it comes together with semolina flour, a pinch of salt, and just a touch of baking powder to give it that perfect tender texture. The butter stirred through at the end is the secret that transforms these humble ingredients into something absolutely divine.
I’ve served this Plain Pasta to my grandchildren countless times, and there’s something magical about watching their faces light up when they taste homemade pasta for the first time. It’s the kind of dish that brings everyone to the table, and the memories made around sharing it are worth far more than any fancy recipe.
