Gluten Free Protein Toaster Waffles
Ingredients
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 ounce Protein Powder Whey Based
- 0.5 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 0.25 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 0.25 cup Egg
- 1 tablespoon Syrup
- 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 cup Oats
- 1 tablespoon Applesauce
Instructions
- Preheat waffle maker.
- In a small bowl, combine milk and lemon juice and let stand 510 minutes until milk starts to curdle.
- In a blender or food processor, add all other ingredients.
- When milk has curdled, add in milk.
- Blend until evenly mixed and the oats have broken down and become a flour.
- Grease your waffle maker really well.
- Pour batter into waffle maker and cook according to machine instructions.
- Repeat with the rest of the batter, making sure to re-grease after each one.
- Eat immediately or freeze for later use.
- If frozen, remove from freezer and place in toaster to reheat.
