What makes this recipe truly special is how the black walnuts add such a lovely depth of flavor to the tender chicken and beans. The touch of brown sugar brings everything together in the most wonderful way, creating a balance of sweet and savory that’ll have everyone asking for seconds.
I’ve made this dish countless times for my family gatherings, and it never fails to bring smiles to the table. There’s something so comforting about serving a meal that’s made with love in just one skillet—it reminds us that the best food comes from the heart.
