Golden Smashed Potatoes

Golden Smashed Potatoes are one of my favorite sides to bring to the table, and I think you’ll see why once you take that first creamy bite! There’s something so comforting about potatoes prepared with love and a few special touches that make them shine.

What makes these potatoes truly special is the golden warmth of turmeric paired with a hint of mustard and a touch of syrup — it’s an unexpected combination that adds such lovely depth of flavor. The key is using good olive oil and whole milk to create that luxurious, silky texture that folks just can’t resist.

I’ve served these at countless family dinners, and they always disappear first from the table! My grandchildren ask for them by name, and now I’m so happy to share this recipe with you so you can create those same warm memories around your own dinner table.
