Brittes Chocolate Cake Recipe is one of my most treasured baking secrets, and I’m so pleased to share it with you today. This cake has been bringing smiles to my family’s table for years, and I just know it’ll become a favorite in your home too.
What makes this cake truly special is the unexpected addition of mayonnaise, which creates the most incredibly moist and tender crumb you’ve ever tasted. Combined with rich cocoa powder and a touch of baking soda, every bite is pure chocolate heaven without any fussy techniques required.
I love serving this beauty at family gatherings because it feeds a crowd beautifully—twelve generous servings every time. There’s nothing quite like watching faces light up when folks take that first bite, and knowing I’ve created a moment of warmth and togetherness around the table.
