Peanutty Turtle Shortbread Bars — Gran Cooks

Peanutty Turtle Shortbread Bars

Oh honey, these Peanutty Turtle Shortbread Bars are an absolute dream—with their buttery shortbread base, gooey caramel, and crunchy peanuts all layered together! They’re the kind of treat that’ll have your family asking for seconds before you’ve even finished serving the first batch.

What makes these bars so special is the combination of that rich, tender shortbread foundation and the way the brown sugar and butter create the most delicious caramel layer that just melts in your mouth. The peanuts add the perfect crunch and nuttiness that brings everything together beautifully.

I love to make these when the grandkids are coming over—they disappear faster than you can say “turtle candy!” These bars are perfect for sharing at potlucks, bake sales, or just tucking into lunch boxes with a little note that says “Love, Gran.”
