Pacific Wasabi Sauce for Grilled Tuna

Pacific Wasabi Sauce for Grilled Tuna is one of my favorite ways to dress up a beautiful piece of fish, dear. This creamy, zesty sauce comes together in just minutes and transforms a simple grilled tuna steak into something truly special.

The magic here is in the balance of flavors — the coolness of sour cream and mayo tempers that lovely wasabi heat, while the lime juice and mustard add brightness and tang. When you whisk these ingredients together until smooth and creamy, you create a sauce that clings beautifully to every bite of fish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 6 tablespoon Wasabi
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Whisk the mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, lime juice, salt and pepper in a medium-glass or stainless steel bowl for 1 minute, or until smooth and well blended.
  • Add the wasabi paste and whisk vigorously for 1 minute, until combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
