Chinese Pot Roast Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 pound Beef
- 3 tablespoon Lard
- 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce Made From Soy
- 0.33333333333333 cup Water
- 2 quart Cabbage
Instructions
- Brown meat on all sides in lard; pour off drippings.
- Add in pepper, soy sauce and water; cover tightly and cook slowly 3 hrs or possibly till meat is tender.
- Add in cabbage; steam 7 min.
- Thicken cooking liquid for gravy, if you like.
