The Perfect Sugar Cookies Recipe is one I’ve made hundreds of times, and it never fails to bring smiles to my kitchen table. These cookies are soft, buttery, and so simple to make that even the littlest helpers can join in on the fun.
What makes these cookies truly special is the sour cream—it keeps them tender and gives them that wonderful homemade taste you just can’t get from a box. The butter and sugar creamed together create the perfect base, and there’s no fussy decorating required unless you want to get creative with your grandchildren.
I love bringing a batch of these to share with neighbors or tucking them into lunch boxes for my grandkids. These cookies have been part of so many of our family gatherings over the years, and they’re always the first to disappear from the plate.
