Oatmeal Honey Waffles
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Oats
- 0.5 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 0.25 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 0.5 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 0.25 cup Egg Substitute
- 0.75 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoon Applesauce
- 1 tablespoon Honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake oats in a single layer in a shallow pan 10 minutes or until lightly toasted, stirring after 5 minutes.
- Let cool on a wire rack 10 minutes.
- Process oats in a blender or food processor 30 seconds or until finely ground.
- Sift together flours, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl; stir in ground oats.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, applesauce, and honey in a medium bowl; gently stir in oat mixture.
- Cook batter in a preheated, sprayed waffle iron until golden.
