Baked Brown Rice is one of my favorite ways to cook rice because it comes out so fluffy and tender every single time. Once you bring it to a boil on the stovetop, you simply transfer it to the oven and let it do all the work for you.
The magic here is in keeping things simple—just rice, water, butter, and a pinch of salt—so each grain can really shine through. Baking it in the oven gives you perfectly cooked rice without any of the fussing or stirring you’d do on the stove.
This has been my go-to side dish for Sunday suppers and family gatherings for years now, and it never fails to please a table full of hungry folks. I love how it pairs beautifully with roasted chicken or a hearty stew, and my grandchildren always ask for seconds.
