Apple Spaghetti is one of my favorite treats to whip up for the grandchildren when they come visiting. It’s such a simple yet magical way to turn humble apples into something that looks as fancy as it tastes, and the little ones always ask for seconds!
What makes this recipe so special is how the butter and cinnamon sugar bring out the natural sweetness of the apples, creating the most wonderful caramel-like flavor. The secret is using a good apple peeler to create those delicate strands—they cook just right and stay tender without turning mushy.
I always make Apple Spaghetti right before serving so those beautiful apple strands don’t brown, and I love watching the surprise on everyone’s faces when they discover it’s made from apples! My granddaughter used to think I was a magician for turning fruit into something that looked like pasta, and now she helps me peel the apples whenever she visits.
