Flying High Apple Pie is one of my most treasured recipes, dear ones, and I just know it’ll become a favorite in your kitchen too. There’s something magical about the way this pie rises up golden and beautiful in the oven, filling your whole home with that wonderful cinnamon-apple aroma.
What makes this pie so special is the homemade crust—made from scratch with just butter, flour, salt, and water—paired with the most heavenly spiced apples you’ve ever tasted. The secret is taking your time with those layers of tender apples and warm cinnamon, letting them meld together into pure comfort.
I’ve served this pie at countless family gatherings, and I love watching everyone’s faces light up when they take that first bite. There’s nothing quite like gathering around the table with loved ones, forks in hand, sharing a slice of this beautiful pie and making memories together.
