Brownie Mix in a Jar III is one of my favorite gifts to give to loved ones during the holidays, dear. There’s something so special about layering these beautiful ingredients right before their eyes, knowing they’ll create the most wonderful brownies in their own kitchen.
What makes this recipe truly magical is how the shortening confectionery works with the sugars to create that fudgy texture we all crave. When you layer the flour, baking powder, and salt just right, you’re creating a dry mix that stays fresh and ready whenever someone needs a chocolate treat.
I love watching my grandchildren’s faces light up when they receive one of these jars—it makes them feel so grown-up following the instructions to bake their own brownies. These homemade mixes have become a cherished tradition in our family, and I hope they become one in yours too.
