Baked Sweet Potato Chips are such a wonderful treat to make right in your own kitchen, dear. I love how simple they are, yet they taste like something special from a fancy bakery.
What makes these chips truly special is the perfect balance of sweet and tart—that lemon juice brings out the natural sweetness of the potatoes in the most delightful way. A little sprinkle of black pepper adds just enough warmth to keep things interesting, and when you bake them instead of fry, you get all the crispiness with so much less fuss.
I make these whenever the grandchildren visit, and they disappear faster than I can bake them! There’s something about sharing these golden, crispy chips together that brings everyone around the kitchen, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
