Homemade Beef Stew Pot Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.66666666666667 cup Lard
  • 8 tablespoon Water
  • 5 cup Beef
  • 2 tablespoon Milk

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour, shortening and water in a bowl and mix together well.
  • Divide dough.
  • I used a large deep pie dish.
  • Roll dough to a size that will fit your dish, then place the first half in the bottom of the dish.
  • Add beef stew (or any other stew) to the dish, spread evenly.
  • Roll out the other half of the dough and place on top of the stew.
  • Fold together and pinch edges to close edges.
  • Make a couple of small slits on top.
  • Using a pastry brush, brush the entire top with milk.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.
