Ingredients
  

  • 1.25 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Seeds
  • 1.75 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 0.5 cup Applesauce
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • In a big bowl combine flours, flax seeds, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.
  • In a second bowl combine buttermilk, applesauce, water and vanilla extract.
  • Using a wire whisk combine dry and wet ingredients making sure to incorporate a lot of air into the batter.
  • Allow dough to rest for 30 minutes.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan or griddle and cook pancakes one at a time like you normally would.
  • Turn pancake when bubbles form on top.
  • Each side should be golden brown.
  • Enjoy with your favourite toppings.
