KFC and Kentucky Fried Chicken Biscuits are something special, honey, and I’m so excited to share this recipe with you today. These golden, flaky biscuits rival what you’d get at your favorite chicken restaurant, but made right here in your own kitchen with love.
The secret to these beautiful biscuits is using cold vegetable shortening and working it into that flour just right, along with a touch of sugar to give them that subtle sweetness. Don’t overwork the dough, dear — that’s what keeps them tender and fluffy on the inside with those gorgeous crispy layers on the outside.
I love serving these warm from the oven with butter melting on top, perfect alongside fried chicken for a real Sunday dinner. My grandchildren always ask for seconds, and I find myself making extra batches because these biscuits disappear faster than I can bake them!
