Grannies Shortbread Cookies are one of my most treasured recipes, passed down through generations of love and baking. These delicate, buttery treats are so simple to make, yet they bring such joy to everyone who takes a bite.
What makes these cookies so special is the perfect balance of real butter and just a touch of cornstarch, which gives them that signature tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture. There’s no fancy tricks here—just quality ingredients and a gentle hand, which is exactly how the best shortbread should be made.
I love baking these for my grandchildren and watching their faces light up when they taste that rich, buttery goodness. These cookies have a way of bringing everyone together around the kitchen table, and I hope they become just as cherished in your family as they are in mine.
