Deli Coleslaw is one of those simple side dishes that reminds me of the fresh, crisp slaws you’d get at your favorite deli counter. It’s so easy to make at home, and I promise it tastes even better than the store-bought kind!
The secret to this coleslaw is getting that perfect balance of creamy and tangy—the mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar work together like old friends, while a touch of sugar rounds out all those flavors beautifully. Fresh cabbage is really the star here, and when you toss it with this simple dressing, it becomes something truly special.
I’ve brought this to countless potlucks and family gatherings, and it always disappears first from the table. My grandchildren ask for it by name now, and there’s nothing quite like seeing their faces light up when they know Gran’s bringing her coleslaw!
